ERCA-Certification now also for Organisations Outside of Continental Europe
We are receiving more and more inquiries from organisations from other continents. Those entrepreneurs are seeking for a route to implement the well-established ERCA certification schemes to train ropes course instructors and rescuers as well as for the inspection of ropes courses.
During the considerations it turned out that it seems far more sensible to apply the existing ERCA scheme in additional regions than to start from zero. At the same time, everybody involved acknowledge that extra efforts are required to adapt the scheme to the very specific regional environment and rules. Therefore ERCA has decided only to start such worldwide partnerships with organisations who are applying business principles similar as ours, are capable to communicating in English with ease and are willing to contribute to the certification system.
Last Monday Jim Bacon has started the first worldwide trip in his role as an ERCA Master Trainer to the Middle East and to run module 1 of a Train-the-Trainer Course for the Adventure Park scope. We wish Jim and all candidates a great time and to have enough cool soft drinks at hand.
