Inspectors Meeting: Report & Community Quiz

During the inspectors meeting a great variety of topics was covered and there was an excellent exchange on practical inpection cases. We are grateful that Technical Outdoor Solutions Ltd., as one of the ERCA-certified inspection bodies in the United Kingdom, hosted the inspector meeting and provided an ideal environment to address the topics of: welding, corrosion, working at height and resin anchors. Special thanks go to Mike, Paul, Stu and Craig from the inspectors group for preparing the specific CPD sessions and for the hands-on parts involving strength and destructive testing. Moreover it was very good to have Jack from Fischer UK present to answer questions about resin anchors as well as Mark, Paul and Riccardo from Edelrid to introduce their professional work safety products. In addition to the theory sessions, the inspectors were able to discuss inspection criteria while climbing the on-site ropes course and to train varying rescue scenarios.
