Additional professional Audit Services for Ropes Course Operators
ERCA is introducing the pilot phase for additional professional but voluntary audit services. The new audit services offers focus on the professional development for operators of ropes courses and adventure parks. It is made for all operators who are running a solid business and wish for an external consultancy to prove the resilience of the core processes of their operation.
It is to highlight that these services are a voluntary offer for all those who are interested. The ERCA membership as it is at the moment will not change and will be kept stable in terms of benefits and pricing!
With those who decide to undergo the professional audit services, an individual audit plan will be created, defining the fields of the audit, a timeline and the audit costs. After the successful completion of the audit, the member will receive the allowance to display the unique “Audited Member” label on their promotion materials and in the footer of self-generated certificates (specific label guidelines are to be applied). The “Audited Member” status will also be displayed in the member’s profile on the ERCA website. For all this extra promotional opportunities, an additional annual fee – on top of the membership fee - is to be paid. A graduated price scale defines the annual fee depending on the size of the company and other commitment to ERCA professional services.
ERCA-certified training bodies and ERCA-certified inspection bodies will be granted a quick onboarding for the reason that they have passed audits already and contribute largely to the professionalisation of the ropes course industry.
In a very first step, the ERCA Board has agreed to run a pilot test with 1 or 2 longstanding members. After completion of the audit procedure it is to review and adapt before being rolled-out to all interested members. The timeline for this is 6 months.
