The Talurit AB Group is privately owned and was established in 1948. It was built-up on a patented solution for mechanical splicing of wire ropes. We have been the pioneering company in this special field, developing effective methods and equipment for mechanical splicing ever since. Our company owns trade marks like GERRO, ULTRAGRIP, KONIT, HEXLOC and TALUGRIP in most countries around the world. Other known brands are TALUKON and T-LOC.

Organization
The parent company Talurit AB is based in Gothenburg, Sweden with subsidiaries near Singen in southern Germany and in Barnsley, United Kingdom. We also have a sales office in Ningbo, China. We sell our products throughout the world and have representation in most industrialized countries. Stock of standard products are strategic situated around the world to cut lead times and to improve efficiency. We are participating in standardization works in different countries and are also members in branch organisations like AWRF. Our work is aiming to achieve improved safety in the field of mechanical splicing of wire ropes.
