Training - Operational Ropes Course Inspection

From 25.11.2025 until 28.11.2025

Course Language: Dutch/English/(German)
Course Provider: Ropes Course Solutions;
Certification: Ropes Course Solutions Certificate;

Description

This course is offered an run by our member Ropes Course Solutions.

The EN 15567 – 2 regarding the operation of a ropes course describes the requirement of a 1 – 3 month operational inspection to be performed. This inspection is more thorough than the daily, before use, inspection. It is an inspection that must be done by a competent person with ample knowledge regarding the materials used in realising a ropes course.

Ropes Course Solutions has developed a training course which offers you the knowledge and experience to responsibly and safely perform an inspection of your ropes course and allows you to recognise faults and wear and tear in their early stages. You will attend a 3 day course in which you will be trained as Course Inspector Ropes Courses, after which you will be able to perform an operational inspection of your park in a responsible way. This will increase the level of safety of your adventure park or ropes course for all your participants. Upon successful completion of the course you will be able the identify faults, wear and tear in their early stages and act on this. You will be able to perform limited maintenance on the spot or manage possible future defaults through a maintenance plan.

This training course has a theoriactical part and a practical part. As part of the course we will cover safe working at heights techniques.

The course is recognised for candidates applying to become an 'ERCA-certified inspector' according to the 'ERCA Inspector training scheme'.
